Kathmandu. The administration has urged the people to use alternative routes after the Prithvi Highway was obstructed due to dry landslide that occurred at Jawangkhola of Benighat Rorang rural municipality-10 in Dhading this morning.

According to the administration, small and medium vehicles heading towards Gorkha, Lamjung and Pokhara will be able to use the Malekhu-Dhadingbesi-Arughat Mid-Hill Highway, Gorkha Bazaar via Abukhaireni and Dumre via Mid-Hill Highway.

“All vehicles, big and small, heading to other places have been requested to use alternative routes by maintaining lane discipline in coordination and direction with the security bodies,” the administration said.

Police have requested the people to use alternative route as it will take around five hours to clear the landslide.
