Dang. The Inland Revenue Office, Tulsipur has started its service from today.

The service has been started from the office of Tulsipur Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Chief Tax Officer of the Office, Shreedhar Tandon, said that the taxpayer service and revenue related service has been brought into operation for the time being.

There are more than 35,000 taxpayers from Dang, East Rukum, Pyuthan and Rolpa among other districts. Two office buildings and a residence were completely damaged during the Genji protests.

Two vehicles and office belongings were gutted in the fire. Tandon said that the technical team had suggested that they should not stay in the building. Chief Tax Officer Tandon said that the service has been started from the office provided free of cost by the Tulsipur Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the time being. Many government offices in the district are yet to resume their services. Some offices have set up tents to operate the service.
