Kathmandu. The government has restricted the facility of keeping private secretaries for political office-bearers. The Ministry of Finance has scrapped the facility of appointing their personal secretaries in the hope of cutting their expenses.
However, the President, Vice President, Prime Minister, Speaker, Chairman of the National Assembly, Head of the State, Government of Nepal and ministers at the provincial level can appoint personal secretaries.
