Biratnagar. Finance Minister Rameshwor Khanal has said the decisions taken by the Council of Ministers related to fiscal austerity would be applicable to all sectors.

The Council of Ministers had taken various decisions regarding fiscal austerity on September 18. He said this while inspecting the Inland Revenue Office (IRO) where vandalism and arson took place during the ‘Genji’ demonstration today.

On the occasion, Chief of the District Police Office Keshav Upreti handed over details of the loss to Minister Khanal. While Minister Khanal was inspecting, the employees were providing service to the service recipients from the hut built to keep the vehicles.

Chief District Officer of Morang, Indra Dev Yadav, said that Minister Khanal will attend a meeting of the Revenue Leakage Control Committee to be held at Integrated Customs Check Post at Rani Biratnagar. According to him, Minister Khanal is scheduled to participate in a discussion with the industrialists and traders at the Morang Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Biratnagar today.
