Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has said that people will not be offering tika this year on the occasion of Bada Dashain, the biggest festival of Nepalis.

Prime Minister Karki’s Chief Personal Secretary, Adarsh Kumar Shrestha, said that although Bada Dashain is a festival celebrated with enthusiasm, there is no Tika programme this year as the sorrowful moments of youths losing their lives and many injuries in course of the Genji generation movement are still fresh.

Prime Minister Karki’s secretariat has made it clear that he will not give tika and will not give tika to the general public.
