Mahottari. Two persons died and two others were injured in a bus accident at Khayarmara of Bardibas municipality-11 in the district today.

The passenger bus (Na 6 Kha 1464) en route to Kathmandu from Khayarmara met with an accident near Laxmi Narayan Secondary School at Khayarmara this morning.

The deceased have been identified as Chulhai Chaudhary, 80, of Bardibas-10 and Prabesh Khadka, 10, of Ishwarpur-12, Sarlahi district, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bikash Bam of Area Police Office, Bardibas.

More than 40 passengers were injured in the accident and all of them are undergoing treatment at different hospitals in Bardibas.
