Baglung. A person died and two others were injured in a pickup truck accident in Baglung district this morning. Dinesh Thapa, 24, of Sardakhet of Galkot Municipality-5 died when a pickup truck (Ga 1 Ja 6100) met with an accident near Gaighat in Tarakhola rural municipality-1 on Friday evening.

The injured are Milan Pariyar, 24, and Birbal Pariyar, 43, of Sardakhet of Galkot municipality-5, said Police Inspector Keshav Thapa.

Among the injured, Birbal was referred to Pokhara after general treatment at Galkot Nagar Hospital. Another injured Milan Pariyar is undergoing treatment at Galkot Hospital, police inspector Thapa said.

The jeep fell some 20 meters down from the road. He said that a police team reached Galkot immediately after receiving information about the accident.
