Kathmandu. The government has declared public holidays on Sunday and Monday. The Home Ministry has decided to give a public holiday for two days throughout the country in view of the risk of heavy rainfall.

According to a notice issued by the Ministry on Saturday, the public holiday has been declared keeping in mind the possibility of heavy rainfall in various places of the country and the risk of rainfall.

Offices related to disaster management and essential services will remain open even during the holidays.
