No need to wait for the commission’s report to take action against those involved in criminal offences

Kathmandu. The inquiry commission formed to study the Jenji agitation on September 22 and 24 will not have to wait for the report of the commission to investigate and take action against anyone involved in criminal offense. Issuing a press release today, the commission said this.

“It is hereby informed that anyone involved in a criminal offence does not need to wait for the report of the commission to be investigated and taken action immediately by the government mechanisms,” the statement reads.

The commission has been formed to investigate the physical and human casualties caused during the Genji agitation to the Ministry of Home Affairs. The commission has already started its work from September 9.
