Kathmandu. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has said most of the places of Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and western parts of Gandaki Province will witness the influence of the Westerly wind at some places.

The weather will be generally cloudy in the hilly region of the country including Koshi, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and partly cloudy in the Tarai region towards the afternoon. There are chances of moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning at some places of Koshi, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Similarly, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly region of the country including in Koshi and Madhes and mainly fair in the rest of the country tonight. Light rain is likely to occur at one or two places of the hilly region of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati province and Gandaki province, the Department said in its daily bulletin today.
