Kathmandu. CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has urged the government to investigate his property.

He said that there was a lot of talk about his property and urged the government to investigate it.

Chairman Oli said, “My property should be investigated, not only here, even after death, Chitra Gupta can look at the bank account, investigate it.” ’

Speaking at a programme organized in Bhaktapur today, Oli said there was no possibility of safeguarding democracy from Sushila Karki as she was the Prime Minister on condition of breaking the foundation of democracy.

Speaking at a programme organised in Bhaktapur today, Chairman Oli demanded that the House of Representatives should be dissolved as soon as he became the Prime Minister.

“Protecting democracy from the present government? This is not possible,” Oli said, adding, “One should not imagine that democracy will be protected by someone who became the Prime Minister to dissolve the parliament and destroy the foundation of democracy.” ’

Chairman Oli said that the incumbent government is eager to show spectacle on the streets. He challenged the government not to hold a meeting till 3 am to arrest KP Oli, to stop KP Oli’s passport and not to allow KP Oli to go out of the Kathmandu Valley.

“KP Oli is not a person who is afraid of such street spectacle. Is KP Oli afraid of Sushila Karki?” he asked. He warned the Home Minister not to be provoked and said that the talk of running the country is not a joke.
