Kathmandu. A team from the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has arrested Account Officer Dhundiraj Dahal of National Academy of Medical Sciences, Bir Hospital, with bribe of more than Rs 100,000.

CIAA Spokesperson Rajendra Kumar Poudel said that the CIAA team today arrested Dahal acting on a complaint that he had concealed Rs 120÷,580 as bribe in the office of various suppliers and contractors.

“The police have seized ÷bribe money, a mobile device and other related documents from Account Officer Dahal’s office,” he added. Further investigation into the matter is underway, the commission said.
