Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has made it clear that such activities would be brought to book if any activities are found using the name of Prime Minister Sushila Karki or encouraging donation.
“Our attention has been drawn to the information that some individuals or groups have sought donation for various projects, funds or social works, referring to Prime Minister Karki and the Office of the Prime Minister.
Joint Secretary and Spokesperson at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Rabilal Sharma, said that no one has been allowed to collect any kind of donation or assistance on behalf of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
Sharma has urged all not to believe in such misleading activities and to completely reject any request for such acts. The press release also urged the local police to inform the local police to bring such acts under the ambit of law if any activity is found collecting or encouraging donations using the name of the Prime Minister.
