Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting of the Nepali Congress is taking place at the party headquarters in Sanepa. Tight security has been deployed in the office premises ahead of the meeting.

Security has been beefed up as President Sher Bahadur Deuba is attending the party meeting for the first time since then. A large number of security personnel have been deployed outside the gate of the office. Similarly, cadres of Nepali Congress’s sister organizations Tarun Dal and Nepal Student Union have also come forward to provide security.

Congress leaders have started arriving in the meeting. Central members are not allowed to take vehicles inside the office citing security sensitivity. Journalists have also been tightened.
