Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu District Administration Office (DAO) has stated that the passport application service will be started from today.

Issuing a notice, the District Administration Office, Kathmandu has announced that the passport application service will be available in two shifts from 7 am to 7 pm today. The online slot will open at 5:00 pm to apply for the service.

The notice states that the service recipients should be present at the time mentioned in the application form as there is a large number of service recipients and limited application stations.

The service was affected due to arson and vandalism in the building of the District Administration Office during the Jenji agitation on September 7 and 24. Assistant Chief District Officer and Information Officer of Kathmandu District Administration Office, Mukti Ram Rijal, said that the passport service will be operated in two shifts from today.
