Gorkha. Police confiscated 20 kilograms of firecrackers from Gorkha Bazaar. According to the District Police Office, the firecrackers were confiscated in course of checking and searching at different places of Gorkha Bazaar.

Earlier, the police had issued notices from time to time to stop the sale÷distribution and use of firecrackers. Stating that the information was issued with the objective of maintaining peace and security, police said that they would again carry out checking and search of firecrackers.

Superintendent of Police Bharat BK said action would be taken as per the prevailing law if anyone found guilty of such acts.
