Janakpur. Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has arrived in Janakpur today to take stock of the peace and security situation and the upcoming elections to the House of Representatives.

Minister for Industry, Law and Parliamentary Affairs Anil Kumar Sinha, Minister for Youth and Sports Bablu Gupta and Home Secretary Rameshwor Dangal are also in the entourage.

According to the District Administration Office, they are scheduled to visit various Chhath ghats in Janakpurdham and worship and take information about the security situation from the security chiefs of the district.

Chief District Officer Shanker Hari Acharya said that a meeting of the District Security Committee will be held on Tuesday in the presence of Home Minister Aryal.
