Kathmandu. The weather will be generally cloudy throughout the country due to influence of the westerly wind and the low pressure system that has been developed in the Arabian Sea at present.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there will be moderate snowfall and rain at some places of Gandaki, Lumbini and Karnali provinces and at some places of hilly and mountainous regions in the afternoon today.

Light rain is likely to occur at one or two places of the rest of the country. There are chances of heavy snowfall at one or two places of the high hilly and ÷mountainous region of Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces.

The weather will be generally cloudy in the hilly region including Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Karnali provinces while it will be generally cloudy in the Tarai region. Light rain or thunder likely to occur at some places of the hilly and mountainous region of Gandaki Province, at a few places of Lumbini Province, Bagmati Province and Karnali Province and at one or two places of Koshi Province and at one or two places of the hilly and mountainous region.

Heavy snowfall and rain are predicted at one or two places of the high hilly and mountainous regions of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
