Damauli. As many as 14 people were injured in a micro-accident that took place at Abukhaireni rural municipality-2 in Tanahun district today.

According to the District Police Office, Tanahu, 14 persons were injured when the electric micro driver (Bapr 03-001 Ja 0937) en route to Lamjung from Chitwan lost control and rammed into the roadside wall. In the process, the micro road collided with a vehicle (Ba 1 Ñ 1287) of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA).

The injured have been identified as Ishwar Kumar Shrestha,42, of Besisahar municipality-8 of Lamjung, Shanta Maya Tamang,45, Kamai Tamang,48, Budhmaya Tamang,55, Ganga Bahadur Tamang,42, Hom Kumari Tamang,42, Rashmi Tamang,15, and Dolraj Tamang,37.

Likewise, Ganga Tamang,20, Maiti Maya Tamang,63, of Dordi rural municipality-4 of Lamjung district, Indra Kumari Tamang,47, of Devchuli municipality-17 of Nawalpur district, Gammaya Tamang, 16, Mangali Tamang, 30, and five-year-old Srijana Tamang were injured in the incident. The injured have been sent to Abukhaireni Hospital, police said.
