Policy-level corruption widespread, development works obstructed: Minister Gupta

Head. KATHMANDU: Minister for Youth and Sports Bablu Gupta has said that the country’s development works have not been able to move ahead due to the policy-level corruption.

Speaking at a felicitation and meet organized by the Jenji Group Lahan during his visit to his home district Siraha, Minister Gupta said policy-level corruption has become widespread across the country and as a result, dissatisfaction and feeling of rebellion have increased among the people.

“Policy level corruption is the main reason for the lack of proper development in education, health and sports,” said Minister Gupta. ”

He described the Genji movement as a people’s movement focused on ending corruption and creating jobs. “This movement has clearly shown the voice and aspirations of the youths”, he said, adding, “Now the government should formulate policies as per the aspirations and aspirations of the youths”, he added. ”

Minister Gupta also talked about the old disputes in the sports sector and policy irregularities in Lahan. According to him, the fair price of seven bigha 5 kattha and 17 dhur land near Balan Bridge has not been collected and there is policy corruption in it too. “I am searching for the file of this case myself,” he said.

On the occasion of his visit to his home district, Minister Gupta met with the family of Jenji martyr Bijay Chaudhary of Lahan-15 on Monday. On the occasion, he said that the government should not ignore the families of the martyrs and expressed commitment that he would be active to fulfill the dreams of the martyrs.
