Germany donates goods worth Rs 63.96 lakh to flood-affected people in Ilam

Kathmandu. The Federal Republic of Germany has pledged to provide relief materials worth Rs 6.3 million to the flood-affected people of Ilam.

German Ambassador to Nepal Udo Volz signed an agreement with Country Director of Germany Deutsche Welthunggehilf for Nepal on Tuesday, said the Embassy of Germany in Kathmandu.

The Embassy stated in a press release that it would provide relief materials to those affected by the floods in collaboration with the local communities within the next two months. Priority will be given to the poor and the relief materials will be provided. Last year too, Germany had provided relief materials worth Rs 16.4 million to flood victims in Sarlahi and Rautahat.
