Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: A team from Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, Teku has arrested two persons along with a Chinese pistol and 12 rounds bullets.
The arrestees have been identified as Samir Shrestha, 23, of Likhu Rural Municipality-6 in Nuwakot district, currently residing in Nayabazaar of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-17 and Alex Nepali of Panauti Municipality-10, Kavrepalanchowk and currently residing in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-16, according to Superintendent of Police (SP) Kaji Kumar Acharya.
He said, “Our team arrested him from Dhalku, Kathmandu based on a special information that he was terrorizing the general public by showing arms at Ichangu Narayan Temple area of Kathmandu.” ’
The police arrested the model 54 Call 7. According to the Valley Crime Investigation Office, a pistol with the words ’62-25 mm 50000098 Polytechnologies Inc China, one empty magazine of the same pistol and 12 rounds of bullets with ‘311-23’ written on it were confiscated.
Spokesperson Acharya said that both of them have been sent to the District Police Range, Bhadrakali, Kathmandu for further investigation and necessary action on the charge related to arms and ammunition.
