Nawalparasi. CHITWAN — The Narayangadh-Butwal road section has been completely obstructed after vehicles got stuck in the muddy road following incessant rain.

Nawalparasi: The road section of Binayi Triveni rural municipality-2 in Nawalparasi district has been completely obstructed since this evening.

According to the District Police Office, vehicular movement has come to a halt after a cargo truck got stuck on the one-way road due to mud and slippery road following incessant rain since the past few days. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Madhu Nepal, vehicular movement has come to a complete halt since this evening after a cargo truck got stuck on the muddy road near Ghyu Khola of Daunne.

Vehicular movement has been obstructed since Friday night due to muddy road. Hundreds of vehicles have been facing further problems as the one-way traffic on the road has been obstructed since last night.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Nepal said that it is difficult to remove the truck stuck on the road and repair the slippery road due to rainfall in Daunne area. The Butwal-Narayangadh road section has been obstructed even in normal years due to the erosion of the Daunne hills.
