Along with this, they have also locked the gate of the party office. The group reached the gate of the party office by breaking the police security cordon on the way to the party office. They were protesting demanding regular conventions and youth representation. They are shouting slogans outside the party office as the gate has been closed to go to the party office.

They chanted slogans such as “Failure to hold regular general convention, dissolution of incumbent central committee 1, don’t ignore the sentiments of Nepali Congress and youths.” Security has been beefed up at the party office and no one has been barred from entering the party office without checking.
