Kathmandu. Prime Minister Sushila Karki has taken stock of the status of passport distribution from officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Department of Passport.

According to PM’s press coordinator Ram Bahadur Rawal, the officials of the Ministry and Department were summoned to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers at Singha Durbar today and asked for information regarding the passport distribution.

PM Karki also directed Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai and Director General of the Department of Passport Tirtha Raj Aryal to work in such a way that there are no issues regarding passport. He directed to move ahead with various alternative plans immediately to avoid the situation of passport shortage.
