Head. Police have arrested a youth in possession of what appeared to be brown heroin from Old Choharwa of Golbazaar municipality-8 in Siraha district.

Acting on a tip-off, a joint team of Area Police Office, Golbazaar and Narcotics Control Bureau arrested Rupesh Singh, 20, of Golbazar-10, Mahajan Tole on Tuesday evening.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ramesh Bahadur Pal of the District Police Office said that two grams of 130 milligrams of brown heroin concealed in a small black plastic packet was confiscated from Singh’s possession. Singh has been kept at the Gol Bazaar-based police office for further investigation, he added.

Earlier on Sunday night, the police had arrested four people in possession of brown heroin from Lahan and Karjanha.
