Kathmandu. The Chandragiri Cable Car and Resort is to come into operation from Saturday morning. The Chandragiri Hills area was temporarily halted 60 days ago.
With the resumption of cable car service, it will be easier for the devotees to visit the Bhaleshwor Mahadev Temple, one of the most popular tourist and religious destinations of Nepal.
The service of Chandragiri Cable Car and Resort was halted after the cable car bottom station was completely damaged due to the vandalism that took place on September 24. Chandragiri Hills has since called the top technician of Dopelmeyer of Austria to carry out necessary maintenance, safety audit and additional inspection to ensure safe and smooth service for the passengers.
Chairman of Chandragiri Hills Hemraj Dhakal expressed gratitude to the technical team for continuous hard work and excellent work to bring the service into operation and also expressed gratitude to the devotees and tourists for their patience.
On the occasion, President Dhakal welcomed all the tourists and devotees of Bhaleshwor Mahadev who had come to enjoy the panoramic view of Kathmandu Valley after the resumption of the service.
Before the service was suspended, around two thousand tourists and devotees used to get service from Chandragiri Hill on a daily basis.
