Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Poudel has formally launched the NTV World (NTV World) on the occasion of the first anniversary of the establishment of Public Service Broadcasting (PSB).

The English channel of Nepal Television, ‘NTV World’, has been launched amidst a function organized on the premises of PSB and Nepal Television in Singha Durbar today. This channel will include content that understands Nepal in the international arena.

On the occasion, President Poudel unveiled PSB’s logo and mobile app. PSB Nepal celebrated its first anniversary by merging Nepal Television and Radio Nepal. The bill was authenticated by President Poudel on October 8, 2081.

The law came into effect from November 9, 2081, the 31st day of the verification as per the provisions of the Act. With the implementation of this Act, Radio Nepal was formed under the Radio Broadcasting Service Development (Committee) Formation Order-2041 BS and Nepal Television established under the Communications Corporation Act, 2028 BS were transformed into Public Service Broadcasting Society.
