Kathmandu. Jelly Auto Group has achieved a historic milestone by selling 210,000 units of its fully electric SUV, Jelly EX5. This achievement establishes the Jeely EX5 as one of the most successful new electric vehicles in its class.

In China, the Geely EX5 has sold more than 100,000 units in just seven months of its launch. The model is currently available in 26 countries, including Thailand, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, some European countries and Latin American regions. Jelly Auto sold 1.4 million vehicles worldwide in the first six months of 2025, a growth of 47% year-on-year.

With this achievement, the company has announced that it has increased its annual sales target from 20.71 lakh units to 30 lakh units. The company believes that the global sales of more than 2,10,000 units is a testament to the trust of its customers and Lazi’s world-class electric vehicle manufacturing capabilities.

In the coming years, Jelly Auto plans to expand its presence in key markets such as Brazil, Poland, the UK, Italy, and Hong Kong, and accelerate its new energy vehicle production network.

The same model, which was recently launched in Nepal, has also won the hearts of Nepali consumers. Customers and EV enthusiasts have started spontaneously making test drives and bookings. LRR Motors, the official importer of Geely EX5 for Nepal, has announced plans to expand dealerships across the country.
