More than Rs 2 crore grant to build ‘Hi-tech Tunnel’

Mountain. Bihadi Rural Municipality of Parbat district has been involved in the ‘Hi-tech Tunnel’ farming expansion campaign with the goal of making the rural municipality self-reliant in vegetable production by modernizing and commercializing agricultural production.

The rural municipality has allocated Rs 22.5 million for the construction of a high-tech tunnel in the current fiscal year with the objective of attracting local farmers towards technology-friendly farming.TAG_OPEN_div_32 According to the agriculture section of the rural municipality, the programme is expected to diversify production, continue off-season vegetable farming and attract youths back to agriculture.
