Sindhuli. Two persons died and four others were injured in a road accident at Laxmipur of Dudhauli municipality-4 in Sindhuli district this afternoon.

The accident took place when a truck (State 1-02-002 Kha 411) en route to Dudhauli from Biman collided with a motorcycle (State 2-01-001 Pa 2142) coming from the opposite direction and a Pulsar motorcycle (Ma.02-006 Pa 5841).

The deceased have been identified as Ram Kumar Kumar, 34, of Dudhauli municipality-11 and Phul Babu Dhami, 25, of Dudhauli municipality-3.

The injured have been identified as Biplav Dhami, 26, Buddhi Tharu, 27, Sunil Majhi, 25, and Kushe Dhami, 32, of Dudhauli-3. Of them, three are in critical condition, said Superintendent of Police Laldhwaj Subedi, chief of District Police Office, Sindhuli. According to him, they are not even able to speak.

Accident in Madhya Pradesh. The motorcycle (02-006 Pa 5841) caught fire and was completely damaged. The truck driver Sher Bahadur Bista, 25, of Jorpati rural municipality-6 in Dhankuta Chhathar has been taken under control by police.

The injured have been sent to Dudhauli Nagar Hospital for treatment and further investigation into the incident is underway, said Police Inspector Sapana Khadka of Area Police Office, Dakaha.
