Kathmandu. Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Jagadish Kharel, who is in South Korea to participate in the 11th Global ICT Leadership Forum, said that he has got energy to work for the promotion of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

After visiting Seoul AI Smart City Center, he said that Nepal has got the energy to work for the development of AI. He also said that AI would be useful in leading the country towards prosperity through information technology.

According to Minister Kharel’s private secretariat, after taking information about the activities of the center, he said, “Korea’s AI Smart City Center has provided knowledge to further strengthen Nepal’s AI center.” This will help to strengthen the recently established center in our country. ’

Minister Kharel also pledged to make the Centre effective. He also consulted with experts on the opportunities available through AI, its maximum utilization in nation-building and the future. Minister Kharel said that the Leadership Forum for ‘Digital Nepal’ and ‘Digital Transformation’ has been achieved.
