Situation in Simara returning to normal: Home Ministry

Kathmandu. The Home Ministry has said that the government’s serious attention has been drawn towards the incident that took place in Simara of Bara district today.

Issuing a press release today, the Ministry said that the local administration is taking necessary initiatives to maintain peace and security by taking the situation under control and the situation is returning to normal.

Issuing a press release today, Assistant Spokesperson of the Ministry Rabindra Acharya clarified that the present government was committed to holding the elections on the slated date by maintaining peace and order in the country.

“Dialogue, coordination and cooperation of all is essential to hold the elections on the slated date by maintaining peace and security,” he said. For this, it is desirable for all sides to conduct their programmes in a peaceful manner in coordination with the local administration,” the statement reads.
