Kathmandu. The hearing on a writ petition filed by Durga Prasain’s son Nirajan Prasain at the Supreme Court (SC) has concluded.

The writ petition was heard in a single bench of Justice Meghraj Pokharel. The hearing on the petition has been completed. The order is yet to come.

Chief District Officer of Kathmandu Valley, District Administration Office Kathmandu, District Police Range Bhadrakali, Police Headquarters Naxal, Ministry of Home Affairs Singha Durbar and Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers have been named as defendants in the writ.

Police arrested Prasai from his private residence in Bhaktapur on Monday night. KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu District Court has remanded Prasai to 4 days for further investigation into the case.
