Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Two matches are taking place today under the second edition of Nepal Premier League (NPL).

Karnali Lions will take on Lumbini Lions in the first match to be held at Tribhuvan University International Cricket Stadium in Kirtipur at 11:15 am. Lumbini will be captained by Rohit Paudel and Karnali Sompal Kami.

Lumbini is looking for a second win. They had defeated Chitwan Rhinos in the first match. This is Karnali’s second game. Karnali, which lost to Chitwan Rhinos in the first match, is looking to win today.

Likewise, Kathmandu Gorkhas and Biratnagar Kings are taking on each other at 3:30 pm today. Kathmandu is playing the third match under the captaincy of Karan KC.

Earlier, Kathmandu had defeated Janakpur Bolts in the first match and was defeated by Sudurpaschim Royals in the second match. Sandeep Lamichhane-led Biratnagar is looking for its second consecutive win. Biratnagar had defeated Pokhara Avengers in the first match.
