Taplejung. Taplejung: Snowfall has started at the Pathivara Temple area, the famous pilgrimage site of Taplejung, for the first time this year.

There was light rain on Friday afternoon and snowfall since evening. Rajendra Mahat, an employee of Pathivara Area Development Committee, said that cold has increased in Pathivara area with snowfall.

The Pathivara Area Development Committee has also urged the pilgrims to stay safe from cold and adopt precautions. The snowfall is said to have caused minor impact. The movement of pilgrims has been slightly affected due to snowfall.

The pilgrims who arrived in the morning after the snowfall throughout the night have also got an opportunity to play in snow along with the sight of Pathibhara. Devotees thronged the temple since early morning.
