Bhaktapur. The National Examination Board (NEB) has released the results of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) 2081 today. Announcing the results at the Examination Control Office, Sanothimi on Friday, Board Chairman Dr Mahashram Sharma said that out of the 438,896 candidates who appeared in the examination, 61.81 percent students passed.
A total of 2,71,299 students have passed the examination. Of which 3. There are 48,177 students with 6 to 4 GPA i.e. special category. According to the results, 81,385 people with 3.2 to 3.6 GPA, 2. 8 to 3. 89,124 people who received 2 GPA, 2. 48 thousand 479 people from 4 to 2.8, 2 to 2. There are 4,126 candidates with 4 GPA and 8 candidates with less than 2 GPA.
A total of 1,67,597 candidates who failed in the non-graded examination will have to appear for the re-examination. The examination of 126 candidates has been canceled.
Most passed in Bagmati, lowest in Karnali Province
The highest number of students have passed in bagmati state while the lowest number of students have passed in Karnali state. Bagmati Province has the highest number of 119,517 students while Karnali Province has the lowest pass percentage of 46,455.
Similarly, 47,835 students from Koshi State, 59,749 from Madhes State, 47,849 from Gandaki State, the highest number of 97,687 students from Lumbini Province and 59,804 students from Sudurpaschim State have passed.
A total of 23,631 candidates from Koshi Province, 42,779 from Madhes Province, 20,946 from Bagmati Province, 11,328 from Gandaki Province, 28,274 from Lumbini Province, 13,765 from Karnali Province and 26,876 from Sudurpaschim Province have qualified.
Most students in mathematics subject
According to the results released today, many students have failed in mathematics. At a press conference, Board Chairman Dr Sharma said that 128,218 students have been non-graded in mathematics alone this year.
Although overall results have improved, it is sad that mathematics is the most nongraded. He said that it was equally difficult for the students to study English. According to him, 80,672 students in English, 54,735 in Nepali, 53,186 in social and 79,271 in science and technology have been nongraded.
According to the board, many students are also enrolled in NG in elective subjects. As many as 12,150 students are non-graded in elective economics. Similarly, 18,222 students have failed in elective mathematics.
Schedule supplementary exam date
The supplementary examination of SEE is going to be held from August 29. It will be held from Thursday and the schedule will be published later. If the students are not satisfied with the results, they can re-apply and re-examine the answer sheets, he added. For this, applications can be submitted till 5 pm on July 15.
