Kathmandu. The stock market rose for the fourth trading day of the week. On Wednesday, the NEPSE index rose by 22.04 points to 2,705.90 points. The stock market fell on the second Monday and third Tuesday of the week. On Wednesday, the NEPSE Sensitive Index rose by 4.76 points, the Float Index by 1.76 points and the Sensitive Float Index by 1.81 points.
On Wednesday, the transaction amount has also increased with the stock market. Shares worth Rs 7.45 billion were traded in the stock market on Wednesday. Out of the 13 sub-groups traded today, the index of 11 sub-groups has increased. The index of the remaining two sub-groups has decreased. Today, the index of banking sub-group has increased the most. Today, the share price of the sector has increased by 1.68 percent.
Similarly, the index of investment sub-group has increased by more than 1 percent, while the index of production and processing sub-group has increased by about 1 percent. The index of finance and mutual fund sub-groups declined slightly on this day.
Today, the share price of Barun Hydropower has increased by 6.21 percent. Similarly, the share price of Panchakanya Mai Hydropower has increased by more than 4 percent on this day. On the basis of transaction amount, Radhi Power Company is at the highest position on this day. Shares worth Rs 467.1 million of the company were traded on this day.
