Stock market up 25.89 percent, turnover above Rs 9.5 billion

Kathmandu. On the last trading day of the week, the stock market has increased. On Thursday, the NEPSE index rose by 25.89 points to 2731.80 points. Today, the Sensex has gained 7.55 points. Similarly, the float index rose 2.27 points and the sensitive float index gained 2.67 points.

Shares worth Rs 9.68 billion were traded in the stock market on Thursday. Of the 13 sub-groups traded on Thursday, the index of 11 sub-groups has increased. The index of the remaining two sub-groups has decreased. Today, the index of banking sub-group has increased by 3.02 percent, while the index of development bank and microfinance sub-group has increased by more than 1 percent. Similarly, the index of trade and hydropower sub-group has decreased slightly.

Today, the share price of Mai Khola Hydropower has increased the most. The company’s share price has increased by 8.15 percent. Shares of Corporate Development Bank (CDB) fell the most by 9.92 per cent during the day.
