64.86 percent budget spent in Karnali

Kankrevihar. The Karnali state government has spent 64.86 percent of the budget in the fiscal year 2081/82 BS.

Ratna Prasad Subedi, controller of account TAG_OPEN_div_34 s at the Provincial Controller of Accounts office, Birendranagar, said that the amount of budget was spent till 12:00 pm on July 15. According to him, 75.59 per cent of the expenditure has been incurred on current and 58.63 per cent on capital expenditure.

Of the TAG_OPEN_div_32 Rs 31.30 billion brought by the state government, Rs 20.30 billion has been spent.

The total budget TAG_OPEN_div_30 of the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers is Rs 335.73 million, out of which Rs 182.73 million has been spent, while the total budget of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Planning is Rs 175.355 million, out of which Rs 139.793 million has been spent.

The Ministry of Industry TAG_OPEN_div_28, Tourism, Forest and Environment has spent Rs 1.41 billion out of the total budget of Rs 1.95 billion, while the Ministry of Water Resources and Energy has spent Rs 2.28 billion out of rs 2.86 billion.

TAG_OPEN_div_26 Out of rs 1.86 billion of the Ministry of Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives, rs 1.29 billion has been spent. Similarly, out of the total budget of Rs 375.68 million of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law, Rs 266.96 million has been spent.

The Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Urban Development, which has the highest budget of the province TAG_OPEN_div_24, has spent Rs 5.99 billion out of rs 10.43 billion.

The Ministry TAG_OPEN_div_22 of Social Development has spent Rs 4.09 billion out of Rs 5.69 billion.

Of the total TAG_OPEN_div_20 Rs 4.83 billion sent by the state government to the local levels, Rs 4.38 billion has been spent.

Of TAG_OPEN_div_18 the Rs 145 million allocated to the provincial legislature, Rs 112.5million has been spent.
