Kathmandu. Kathmandu: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is going to review the existing provision regarding distribution of more than 15 percent dividend (cash or bonus) annually to microfinance institutions.

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Governor Dr Bishwanath Poudel made the announcement while unveiling the first monetary policy of his tenure on Friday. Point 104 of the policy unveiled by Poudel states, “The existing provision regarding distribution of more than 15 percent dividend (cash or bonus) annually by microfinance financial institutions will be reviewed as per the existing arrangement.”
