Kathmandu. Hongshi Shivam Cement Company has made a business of Rs 9.25 billion in the nine months of the current fiscal year. The company had a turnover of Rs 11.92 billion in 2024.
The company’s business is declining every year. In the year 2023, the business amounted to Rs 13.81 billion. Similarly, in the year 2022, the business amounted to Rs 17.44 billion. In 2021, the company has done business of Rs 17.45 billion. The company’s operating income (OBIDTA/OI) has been declining every year.
In 2021, the company’s revenue slipped from 27 per cent to 15 per cent in 2022. Similarly, the operating profit of the company has increased from 9 percent in 2023 to 17 percent in 2024. According to the company, the company’s profit in the nine months of the current fiscal year was 23 percent.
The company has also rated loans worth Rs 6 billion for short-term and long-term loans. Rating agency ICRA Nepal has rated the company’s debt as ‘ICRANP Atuples’. This cement company was established in 2025.
The company has been supplying cement and concrete for cement. According to the company, the company has a concrete production capacity of 2 million metric tons per year and cement production capacity is 2.3 million metric tons per year.
Two companies own shares in the company. Hong Kong Red Lion Cement Company owns 70 per cent stake and Shivam Holdings Company owns 30 per cent. The factory of this company is located in Vinayi Triveni Rural Municipality of Nawalparasi district. The company currently produces Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) and Portland Pozzolana Cement (PPC), which are available in the market under the ‘Hongxi’ brand.
