Kathmandu. Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has delayed the policy, programmes and budget for the upcoming fiscal year by Two weeks.

Mayor Balen Shah presented the policy and programme while Deputy Mayor Sunita Dangol presented the budget on Sunday.

Mayor Shah and Chief Administrative Officer Saroj Guragain of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) have not received the policy, programmes and budget on time.

It was also evident in the 17th municipal assembly held today. Mayor Sah addressed only the deputy mayor during the address, but did not take the name of Chief Administrative Officer Guragain.

Guragain’s nervousness was clearly visible. He was looking at the clock at home. The mayor and deputy mayor were seen talking to each other from house to house. He was open only after the mayor left.
