Kathmandu. Lawmaker Chandra Bahadur Bishwakarma has demanded that the government should make arrangements for taking loans up to Rs 2 million without collateral for the poor people. Speaking at a meeting of the House of Representatives on Monday, he demanded that provision should be made to provide loans up to Rs 2 million to poor people without collateral to do business.
“At present, banks and financial institutions distribute relief brought by the government for the poor people. He says, “The relief given in this way will not be given to the people without collateral. They don’t have enough resources to mortgage. ’
He said the people were forced to earn their livelihood by taking loans at meter interest as the government’s relief did not reach the people easily. He urged the government to give loans up to Rs 2 million to banks on a tamsuk basis.
