Damauli. A nine-kilometre road connecting Ranitari of Byas municipality-5 to Ghumti of Myagde rural municipality-4 has been blacktopped. The road has been blacktopped and upgraded. The goal is to make this road an alternative route to the Prithvi Highway.
According to Rabindra Tiwari, chief of the Infrastructure Development Office, the road has been blacktopped a year ahead of the deadline. The office had signed an agreement to upgrade the road at a cost of Rs 366.29 million.
The distance from Ranitari to Ghumti is 9.2 kilometers. Of this, 7.3 km has been blacktopped with Alsfat technology and 1.9 km has been sloped.
