Kathmandu. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there is an influence of monsoon wind across the country at present and the low pressure line of the monsoon is around the normal place.

It will be generally cloudy throughout the country this afternoon. According to the Division, light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is likely to occur at some places of the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces and other provinces.

Heavy rainfall is likely to occur at one or two places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces. Light to moderate rain and snowfall is likely to occur at some places of the high hilly and mountainous regions of the country. There is also a possibility of thunderstorm at some places of The Tarai region of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Similarly, it will be partly to generally cloudy throughout the country tonight. Light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is likely to occur at some places of Koshi Province, Madhes Province and at a few places of the hilly region. Light to moderate rain and snowfall

is likely to occur at one or two places of the high hilly and mountainous region.

Stating that there is a risk of floods, landslides and landslides due to the possible rainfall, the Division has urged the general public of these areas to be cautious as there is a risk of inundation in the urban and Tarai areas.
