Kathmandu. Safraj Khadka, 42, has been arrested for making fakes from the bank’s stamp to the statement. A team of The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) arrested him from his room at Maharajgunj Chowk of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-3 on Tuesday.
According to the CIB, Khadka was arrested on the basis of specific information that he used to make various documents, bank statements and certificates issued by different agencies.
The CIB has found fake items including rubber stamps of various government offices, district courts, banks and financial institutions, certificates of various educational institutions.
He has also faked and sold items like TU, CTEVTE, HSRAB and NEB’s Hollow Gram. Police have seized printer than-2, CPU than-1, scanner than-1, rubber stamp making machine-1 and mobile phone-1 from him.
