Mountain. Parbat: The body of a husband has been recovered from a couple who went missing after a landslide buried their house at Langdi of Modi rural municipality-3 in Parbat. Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Rabin Bista, informed that the body of 78-year-old Chhabilal Bishwakarma was found buried by locals and security personnel.

Search is on for Chhabilal’s wife Bishnumati, who went missing in the landslide. Police chief Bista said that the police and locals from Dimuwa and Kusma have been actively removing the landslide and searching for the missing is going on. He said that it was difficult to rescue the people due to excessive rainfall.

The couple was buried when kanlobari fell on their house this morning due to heavy rains since last night, while their 28-year-old daughter-in-law Pavitra jumped to save her life.
