The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has predicted heavy rainfall in different parts of the country this afternoon, urging people not to travel long distances except for essential ones and stay in safe places. Making public the details issued by the Department, the Prime Minister has requested to remain alert on social media.

“The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rainfall in different parts of the country this afternoon. To avoid weather-related disasters, let us follow the notice issued by the security agencies for necessary precautions. I request you not to travel long distances except for urgent ones and stay in safe places. I instruct the security personnel to be ready for necessary security,” pm Oli wrote on social media.
