Kathmandu. Kathmandu: The Ministry of Health and Population has directed all government health institutions and hospitals to search for the habitat of mosquitoes around their hospitals and offices and destroy the larvae. On Thursday, the Administration Department of the Ministry issued a notice directing all government hospitals and health centers across the country to run the campaign for one hour from 9:30 am to 10:30 pm every Friday.

The Ministry of Health and Population has directed to continue this campaign regularly from Mid-July to September. A notice has been issued asking all the employees of the ministry to be present within the stipulated time and clean their offices. The Epidemiology and Disease Control Division of the Ministry had last week launched a campaign to search and destroy mosquito larvae for one hour every week, including government offices, to control dengue across the country.
